• GPS location telemetry from the driver’s phone while a trip is active — used to measure working hours and area.
• Trip photos, where provided, as part of the work record.

2. Why we collect it

Solely to provide the verification service — to measure a machine’s working hours and area, generate receipts, and let customers and owners view a trip. We do not use this data for advertising.

3. Where it is stored

Personal data is stored on India-region cloud infrastructure.

4. DPDP Act, 2023

We aim to handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — collecting only what the service needs, using it only for the stated purpose, and retaining it only as long as necessary.

5. No sale of personal data

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

6. Data deletion

To request deletion of your data, contact hello@meterbot.in with the phone number and any trip codes involved.
